New Profile/Counter Profile block added to Wealden's spindle range

Wealden's latest spindle block is a multi-profile cutter head for producing cabinet doors.  In response to requests from customers for a profile block to cut a wider groove to accommodate thicker panels, this block has a 6.5mm tongue.  The groove produced will accommodate panels of, for example, 6mm veneered MDF.

A design unique to Wealden, the block is of high quality Italian manufacture and available in both 30mm and 1-1/4" bore sizes.  Manufactured to EN847-1/2 it is therefore suitable for hand feeding and is designed for use on timbers between 24mm and 32mm in thickness.

Wealden launch CNC cutter range

Well-known for over 30 years in the woodworking industry, Wealden Tools has just launched a comprehensive range of high performance CNC tooling to complement its router and spindle tooling products.

The range consists of solid carbide spirals, acrylic spirals, replaceable tip cutters, surfacing cutters, boxed sets of multi-profile cutters and many other tools, all made to a high quality in Europe.   Items are gradually being added to the Wealden website.  Click here to see the online range so far.
